We have friendly competitions every month, divided into ten classes depending on the type and size of the model, and age of the model builder. All competitions are judged by all the members. The monthly competitions lead to the end of year competition in November which also includes "Best of British", "Best R.A.F." and "Best Airfix model" with the Trophies being awarded at the Christmas Social meeting in December. At the December meeting, we also have two memorial competitions.
The Christmas Plate, which is a themed subject selected at the beginning of the year.
The Edgar Brooks Memorial trophy for the best Spitfire.
